Site update

17 March 2011 1,675 views One Comment

Since last May I’ve done very little to update this site. This is partly because I’ve taken a complete break from local politics and have been enjoying having a bit of free time. I’ve also been very busy with my day job. I have decided that if Highbarnet.org is to have any future it needs to become a resource that the whole community can use so I have decided to open it up and try and make it a community website. To that end the site is no longer a Lib Dem site and I have removed any political branding. I’m leaving the previous articles on the site as a record of my time as a local Councillor. I will remain as the sites editor and will retain editorial control, however I’m happy to take news, views and any other content that relates to High Barnet or would be of interest to High Barnet residents. I’m hoping to feature other local groups and campaigns and provide a resource for connecting people. The site will continue to express its opinions on local politics. On a personal note I remain a member of the Lib Dems and am generally supportive of much that the coalition is doing.

I totally agree. The more residents communicate the stronger their voices will be. Community rules.
